of Tucson is a chapter of The Knitting Guild of America.

Our mission is to provide communication and education
to people wishing to advance the
quality of workmanship and creativity in knitting.

Meeting Time and Place

We meet at 9:30 A.M. on the third Thursday of every month. Our meetings are held at St. Philip's in the Hills Episcopal Church, located on the northeast corner of River and Campbell.

A NEWSLETTER is published monthly

Old Pueblo Knitters.
Join the knitting fun with other Tucson area knitters at the Old Pueblo Knitting Guild meetings. Each meeting includes discussion of upcoming events, charity knitting projects, show and share of member's projects, and help solving individual knitting problems. A program on some facet of knitting creativity follows a refreshment break. Anyone interested in knitting is welcome at our meetings.
Ongoing Community Service knitting includes "President's Challenges" for the Charities of the Year (CoY) such as caps for CoY Kids' Closet, scarves for active duty military through CoY Operation Gratitude, and knitting sweaters, caps and mittens for Native American schoolchildren with CoY Navajo Project.

We also knit preemie baby caps and booties for local hospitals, Project Linus blankets and Precious Pals for children, and caps for chemo patients. Members donate unwanted yarn, patterns and tools to the Guild where they are recycled for use on charity knitting or put to use by other Guild Members.
The Guild hosts Workshops to advance member knitting skills throughout the year featuring nationally recognized knitters such as Amy Singer, Janet Szabo, Galina Khmeleva, Lucy Neatby, Valentina Devine and others.
Local dues are $35 a year per individual. Members receive a newsletter, access to the Guild's video library, the opportunity to participate in meeting programs and discounted rates to workshops.
